Information we collect and why
- Orders and support: name, email, delivery address, optional phone number, order notes, product choices, order and payment status, and communications. We use these to quote, fulfill and track your order, answer questions, prevent fraud and keep required records.
- Personalization: pet photographs, pet names, dates, messages and design approvals that you provide. We and our design/fulfillment providers use these to prepare your personalized order. Do not upload identification documents, payment credentials or information that is unnecessary for your design.
- Payment: payment references and payment status. Payment credentials are entered on the payment provider's own page, not in VUNAVO's storefront. That provider's privacy notice applies to information you give it.
- Website operation: IP address, browser/device details, request and security logs, cart contents and privacy preferences. Hosting, security and commerce systems process information needed to serve pages, protect the site and complete your requests.
- Optional analytics: only with your analytics choice enabled, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and shopping interactions and Microsoft Clarity analyzes interactions and session activity on eligible browsing pages. Optional analytics are disabled on checkout, cart, order and story-submission pages. Our ecommerce event code excludes contact details, pet names, uploaded files and personalization messages.
- Optional stories: the name, pet details, story, images and links you choose to submit. Your publication permission is separate from purchasing. Approved stories may be public, including on social media where permission is given; your submission email is not published.
Who receives information
We disclose information needed for the requested service to personnel and providers handling hosting/security (including Cloudflare), commerce, design and production, delivery, payments and support. Google and Microsoft receive optional analytics data only when enabled. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights or address fraud. Staff and providers may process information in the United States and other countries, including China, as needed for design, support or fulfillment.
Advertising, photos and marketing
This storefront does not run advertising pixels or enable advertising storage or ad personalization through its analytics configuration. We do not sell customer lists for money. Optional analytics services can process usage data; you can disable them under Your Privacy Choices. Order photos are not permission to use your photos in public portfolios or marketing. Publication requires separate permission. Contact us to withdraw a publication permission; copies already shared by others may remain outside our control. To stop promotional email, use its unsubscribe link or email us. Necessary order and support messages are separate.
Cookies, storage and browser signals
Essential storage supports your cart, order access, security and privacy preference. Optional analytics remain off until you enable them. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent shopping. Use at any time. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) and a Do Not Track value of 1 as instructions to keep optional analytics off, including when you previously enabled them. Choices are specific to this browser; clearing storage resets a saved choice. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Retention and security
We retain information for order fulfillment, support, disputes, fraud prevention and applicable accounting or legal obligations, then remove or de-identify it when no longer needed. Retention depends on the purpose and any required recordkeeping; a deletion request may not remove records we must lawfully keep or immediately remove backup copies. HTTPS protects information in transit, and order photo files are not offered as a public gallery. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your requests and applicable rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or an opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Email services@buytcn.com with the subject Privacy Request. You may use an authorized agent where applicable. We may verify a request using your order email and order details; do not email a full payment number or identity document. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful exception. If you disagree with a decision, reply with the subject Privacy Appeal. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights. Browser analytics preferences apply immediately in that browser; data requests require contacting us.
Children and policy changes
This store is intended for adult shoppers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to request review and deletion. We post changes here with an updated effective date and give additional notice when required. Materially different uses require any additional consent required by law.
