A cat’s favorite sunbeam
A warm square of light moves across the room, and a cat follows it as though that was the plan for the entire afternoon. Familiar places can hold as much meaning as special occasions.
For your own story, begin with the place your cat chooses most often. Describe how they settle there: paws tucked under, one ear following the sounds outside, or a slow stretch when someone walks past. You do not need to explain every behavior to share the moment honestly.
When choosing a portrait photograph, look for sharp eyes, natural light and an unobstructed face. A photograph can capture appearance; your words can explain why that expression feels like home.
